Pastor Louis Lee joined the Chinese Community Church as our part time interim pastor in January 2009, became the 3/4 time permanent pastor in March 2009, then became our full time permanent pastor in June 2011.
Pastor Lee's parents immigrated from China in the late 40's and lived near Detroit, Michigan, where Pastor Lee grew up. Since graduating from Dallas Seminary in 1979, he has been ministering primarily among English speaking Asians. After pastoring full time for nine years at two different Chinese churches in the SF Bay Area, he founded MESA (Ministries for English Speakng Asians) in 1988. MESA seeks to facilitate greater harmony among English speaking Asians nationwide through conferences and regional fellowship gatherings of pastors and ministry leaders. In addition to MESA, Louis has served at several churches as a part time interim pastor from 1988-2009.
Pastor Louis has been married to Eileen since May, 1976. They have two adult sons and two granddaughters. Pastor Louis and Eileen moved from the Bay Area to Elk Grove in 2005. Louis enjoys most sports as well as bargain hunting, hiking, and traveling.
Pastor Louis retired on August 31, 2019.
