Do We Remember?
(5/30/10)

I.    God tells His people to ______________________ His many blessings.

    A.    Remember God's deliverance (Exodus 12:24-27).

    B.    Remember God's commands especially in ______________________ (Deuteronomy 8:10-14).

"When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you.  (11)
Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day.  (12) Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down,  (13)  And when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, (14) Then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery."     (Deuteronomy 8:10-14)

II.    God provides symbols for us to remember Christ's __________________ for us (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

"For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, (24)  and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me."     (1 Corinthians 11:23-24)

III.    What personal "memorials" remind us of God's blessing to us?
