A Note from Pastor Chris to the Church Family
Dear CCC Family,
It’s a joy and an honor to step into this new chapter with you as your lead pastor. From the first time I visited CCC, I could sense a love for God and a genuine heart for people. Jesus Himself said this sums up the entirety of Scripture: Love God and love people. I look forward to continuing in that spirit and seeing what God will do in our midst.
As we begin this journey, my prayer is that CCC will remain a place where people encounter Christ, find community, and are equipped to serve both here and around the world. Let’s walk into this next season expectant for what God will accomplish through His Spirit and His people.
I can’t wait to meet you, hear your stories, and discover how we can grow together in Christ.
With gratitude and anticipation,
Pastor Chris and Jenny Milbrath

5. Our Home Grown Servant and brother, Ryan Leong, shares a message to the church family:
“Hello Brothers and Sisters at CCC!
God has been working and doing much at UC Santa Cruz! Students are discipling students and they are continuing to share the gospel with others. I want to thank you for your generous giving and sacrificial support over the years. I grew up at CCC which is why it’s been incredibly special to partner with my home church in the Great Commission.
I’m excited to announce that I have accepted and stepped into a new career field. I’ve been praying about this decision for some time, sought counsel from others, and have made some practical steps earlier in 2025. I’ve been trusting the Lord throughout the process and will continue to do so! With this new role of mine, I have officially stepped down from being a full time campus minister with Challenge. This is sad because I have worked for Challenge for almost 8 years and I was a student leader for 4 years while at Chico State! I believe and I trust that God will continue to work in the lives we’ve impacted together.
I believe God has put it on my heart to venture into this vocation. It is a long process so pray that I would continue to persevere in the faith, pray for ministry opportunities, and pray that I would glorify God with my work. Thank you for all of your prayers and support over the years, I couldn’t have done it without your faithfulness.
I look forward to visiting soon!
In Christ,
Ryan Leong”
6. The processing of 2025 Contribution Statements has begun. Once all data have been completed, reviewed, and finalized, statements will be sent via email (trackable, faster, and resource-efficient) toward the middle of February 2026. Thank you for your patience. Please email ccc95822@yahoo.com with any questions.
On a related note, all check and cash contributions our church gratefully receives (donations, tithes, and offerings) are processed using a transparent, step-by-step system carried out by trained volunteers and part-time staff to ensure accuracy, accountability, and proper auditing. Occasionally, contributions may be delayed or not immediately received due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Thank you for your understanding.

Scripture this week —
"Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day He visits us." – 1 Peter 2:12 NIV
Ponder —
“Your life as a Christian should make non-believers question their disbelief in God.” – Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Takeaway –
Our good acts can be more compelling than our preached words.
