A Note from Pastor Chris to the Church Family
Dear CCC Family,
It’s a joy and an honor to step into this new chapter with you as your lead pastor. From the first time I visited CCC, I could sense a love for God and a genuine heart for people. Jesus Himself said this sums up the entirety of Scripture: Love God and love people. I look forward to continuing in that spirit and seeing what God will do in our midst.
As we begin this journey, my prayer is that CCC will remain a place where people encounter Christ, find community, and are equipped to serve both here and around the world. Let’s walk into this next season expectant for what God will accomplish through His Spirit and His people.
I can’t wait to meet you, hear your stories, and discover how we can grow together in Christ.
With gratitude and anticipation,
Pastor Chris and Jenny Milbrath

In Loving Memory
Our dear sister, Jan Bowman, went home to be with God last week.
Jan was a faithful church member who attended Sunday service regularly and joined in other activities, even in her weakened health. We recall with fondness when she and husband Terry visited one weekday to add a flower to each pew in the sanctuary. She will be remembered for her warmth and quiet friendliness to everyone she met. More details to follow on church events for our dear sister Jan.
Pray for God’s grace and comfort for Jan’s husband Terry and their family.
Our dear sister, Maybelle Whang, went home to be with the Lord on April 1.
Maybelle was a pillar of our church family—faithful, joyful, and tireless in serving others. Even in declining health, she attended Palm Sunday service. She deeply loved this church, and she was deeply loved by all of us. Her family is planning a Celebration of Life next month on what would have been her 99th birthday.
Please pray for God’s comfort and peace for her daughter Donna, her sons, and grandchildren during this time.
Baptism & Membership
If you have accepted Christ, we invite you to take the next step through baptism—a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work.
If you are interested, please contact Pastor Chris.
For those exploring church membership, upcoming classes will introduce CCC’s core beliefs and the expectations of members.
