What’s happening at Church?
Our in-person Sunday Worship Service is at 10:30AM in our sanctuary, and the video-recording will be posted here each Sunday. Other church programs and ministries are conducted in-person, online, or hybrid.
We welcome everyone. All our services are conducted only in English.
ANNOUNCEMENTS - october 1, 2024
1. This Sunday Pastor Mark preaches “What makes Jesus so special?" with Colossians 1: 13-20 as Scripture. Communion will be served.
2. Invite your friends and family to Sunday School’s first monthly Family Fun Day this Sunday, October 6th! This is a themed outreach event that will combine all grades, have parent participation, and include songs, games, Bible stories, and themed snacks. Contact Karri Yee for more information at fyeekyee@yahoo.com.
3. Reservations for the 100th Anniversary Dinner celebration on November 2nd continue to be accepted on the CCC website. Price is $25 per person for prime rib or salmon entree; $10 spaghetti dinner for children 10 and under. Space is limited, so sign up soon!
4. Please support our Basketball Program by ordering T-shirts and sweatshirts, now with a cool 2024-2025 Year of the Snake design in several styles and sizes from Youth XS to Adult 3XL! These are available only by pre-sale thru November 11 on the CCC website's Basketball Page. Orders and payments are due November 11, 2024.
5. Our brother Dan Fong shared the wonderful news of meeting newly-discovered cousins from Australia, Paul and Therese Jackson last weekend. Connected by Ancestry.com in 2018, they finally met in-person after years of correspondence. Therese is related to the Fong's through their paternal grandmother Gon Yee Fong. She is a music teacher in Sydney. Paul and Therese attended church last Sunday; also in attendance were cousins Janelle and Garret Chew who are children of Mark Chew and grandchildren of Helen Chew. Therese and Garret even joined the worship team. It was a blessed weekend!
